Abstract

This training event is a part of community service activities conducted by lecturers of Kwik Kian Gie School of Business (KKG SoB). This activity is carried out with SMA DON BOSCO 1, North Jakarta. The participants of this training were teachers of SMA DON BOSCO and students of KKG SoB.Trainers of this training were four of lecturers of KKG SoB.The objectives of this training are to refresh participants’ basic knowledge of statistics and give skills of using Microsoft Excel for data analysis. After this training, participants are expected to be more skillful in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis to support their daily duties as teachers. This training activity lasted for 2 (two) hours in the even semester of the academic year 2020-2021 which took place 19 May 2021. There were three topics in this training, they are two-sample t-test, analysis of variance (anova, and multiple regression). These topics were chosen because they are relevant to support daily activities of teachers, especially when teachers need insights regarding their teaching feedback. The training went smooth and the responses from participants were good. In the future, we plan to have continuous programs of statistics training so that each topics can be practice and discuss more deeply.
