Abstract

Sun Victory is a company that provide the products, which is bags. Sun Victory is planned to be open in Jakarta and the store is situated at Pusat Grosir Tanah Abang. An overview towards the industry and analysis of strength, weakness, opportunities and threats within the business shows that there’s a prospect that if we can maximize our strengths and opportunities to overcome our weakness and threats, surely it is a good business to run. The initial investment of Sun Victory, a bags business, is IDR 724.226.000. This fund purely come from the owner, Gunawan, that makes it as a sole proprietorship business and the funds will allocate for purchasing car as transportation, equipments for operational, cash reserves and store renovation. The assestment of Sun Victory performance was done by preparing financial statements, consisting of : income statement proforma, cash flow projection, and balance sheet proforma. Moreover, the feasibility studies of Sun Victory was done by using several methods of investment appraisal, such as : Net Present Value (NPV), Profitability Index (PI), Payback Period (PP) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). From those assestment and studies, it resulted that Sun Victory has a positive NPV worth IDR 8.957.151, profitability index value 1,012367895, payback period for 3 years 3 months and 23 days, and the value internal rate of return is 18.006%. Thus, Sun Victory is a viable business to run.
