Abstract

Café Quality Time is a company that provides food and drink also facilities such as books for reading, wifi, and charging spot. Café Quality Time is planned to be open in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta and the café is situated at Ruko MOI Italian Walk Blok L/10. An overview towards the industry and analysis of strength, weakness, opportunities and threats within the business shows that there’s a prospect that if we can maximize our strengths and opportunities to overcome our weakness and threats, to ensure the business is good to run. The initial investment of Café Quality Time is IDR 400.000.000. This fund purely come from the owner, Firman Yoelianto, that makes it as a sole proprietorship business and the funds will allocate for building rent fee, building renovation, equipments and supplies for operational, motorcycle and cash reserves. The assestment of Café Quality Time performance was done by preparing financial statements, consisting of : income statement proforma, cash flow projection, and balance sheet proforma. Moreover, the feasibility studies of Café Quality Time was done by using several methods of investment appraisal, such as : Net Present Value (NPV), Profitability Index (PI), Payback Period (PP) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). From those assestment and studies, it resulted that Café Quality Time has a positive NPV worth IDR 1.254.060.112,78, profitability index value , payback period for 2 years 0 month 23 days, and the value internal rate of return is 56%. Thus, Café Quality Time is a viable business to run.
